Mikhail Zakhalov is a

Jewelry designer
Mikhail Zakhalov was born and trained in the former Soviet Union. After
homing his design skills at the Odessa school of Art, he came to America
in 1990. Specializing in the challenging enamel processing methods in
which he was trained, he immediately began working for the Metropolitan
Museum of Art and the Museum Collection Catalog, reproducing famous and
intricate Faberge Egg designs. He soon began creating original jewelry,
eventually opening a retail store to market his line in New York's
Greenwich Village. Misha has mastered, thanks to his classical training
and inexhaustible creativity, the mixture of freshness, versatility and
and forward thinking so important to fashion jewelry design. The
