"My designs transform beach
stones from a place in the waves to a new palette of silver and leather. I do
not tumble my stones or alter them in any way other than drilling a
hole or an occasional engraving. Mother Nature provides the smoothing and
polishing. Each of my pieces is unique to itself as no two stones are ever
identical.
These stones were harvested from the waters and sand of Cape Cod and the South Shore. They have weathered years of pounding surf and been embraced by wintry Atlantic waters. They have basked in the warmth of the sun and shared their home with inhabitants from around the globe. By surviving the most inclement conditions and resting in seemingly endless hours of serenity, they have become what they are, simple things of beauty, filled with memories of days gone by"
